Nuoc Cham Recipe - Vietnamese Dipping Sauce

Here is my step-by-step guide on how to make a delicious Vietnamese Nuoc Cham Dipping Sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm water warm to dissolve the sugar
  • 2 tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoon of fish sauce
  • 2 cloves of minced garlic MUST BE FRESH
  • 1 Birds eye chili optional
  • Juice of ½ lime 1 tablespoon of lime juice

Method
 

  1. 1.     Dissolve the sugar in a large mason jar with warm water
  2. 2.     Add in your garlic, fish sauce, and birds eye chili (optional)
  3. 3.     Cool in the fridge for 15 minutes. Add in your lime juice when you are ready to serve.

Notes

Equipment: Mason jar for storage
