  • 2 lbs chicken wings split
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
Honey Sriracha Sauce:
  • 1 cup mild sriracha
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoon cold butter

Method

  1. Prep the Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (or air fryer to 375°F). Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to ensure extra crispiness.
Season the Wings: In a bowl, toss the wings with cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, baking powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.Bake or Air Fry:
  1. Oven: Arrange the wings on a wire rack set over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  2. Air Fryer: Place wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and fully cooked.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a large pan over medium heat, add the sriracha and honey. Stir until combined. Gradually add the cold butter, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  4. Coat the Wings: Add the crispy wings to the sauce. Toss until fully coated and caramelized.

Notes

  • Love more spice? Drizzle extra hot sauce or switch to a spicier sriracha for that fiery kick.
  • Add a bit of baking powder to make your chicken wings extra crispy!
  • Simmer sauce on low heat to melt in butter and make the sriracha glaze more glossy.
