Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

These honey garlic chicken wings are absolutely divine---they’re sweet, spicy, garlicky, and sticky. They are oven baked until crispy and then coated with my special spicy honey garlic sauce. You’ll definitely love the combination of flavors and textures that these honey garlic wings create!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pound chicken wings split family size
  • 2 tablespoon grapeseed oil
  • 1 tablespoon of aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dry hot mustard
  • Honey Garlic Sauce
  • ¼ cup butter ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoon cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon sweet thai chili
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Garnish
  • Green onion

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Make sure the chicken wings are dry and patted with a paper towel. 
  3. Chicken Wings: Put the chicken wings, baking powder, oil, and spices in a mixing bowl. Mix well and set aside. 
  4. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Place the chicken wings on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Flip at 15 minutes. 
  6. Honey Garlic Sauce: In a large skillet, brown the butter. 
  7. Add the garlic and saute in the butter until fragrant. Add in the garlic. Saute until the garlic is crispy and fragrant.
  8. Add the honey, sweet thai chili sauce, soy sauce, and pepper.
  9. Remove the wings from the oven. Toss them in the skillet until the chicken is caramelized. 
  10. Serve and enjoy!
