Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken thighs boneless or bone in
  • 2 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
Avocado Sauce:
  • 1 cup cilantro or a handful
  • 1 cup plain greek yogurt
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon sweetener I used agave
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Prepare the Chicken Thighs:
  1. Using a large bowl, start by patting the boneless chicken juicy thighs dry with paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, combine baking powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Rub the chicken thighs with avocado oil, ensuring an even coating.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken, making sure each thigh is well coated.
  5. Air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  6. Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs SKIN SIDE DOWN in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving some space between them.
  7. Cook for 25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of the chicken of 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crispy (crispy skin).
Avocado Sauce:
  1. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the avocado sauce. In a blender, combine cilantro, sour cream, avocado, serrano pepper, garlic clove, lime juice, honey, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust with your favorite seasoning to taste.
  3. Serve the chicken with a drizzle or dip the zesty avocado sauce generously over the top.
